MarkCharbPhoto Supports Help-Portrait Austin 2017 Event

‘Tis The Season to make a difference!

Help-Portrait Austin Leadership Team get in good with Santa!

Every year when the seasons change and thoughts turn to the Christmas tasks I am pleased to work with an awesome team of leaders and volunteers to give back to our community through the works of Help-Portrait. The simple premise of finding someone in need, taking their picture, printing their picture and giving it to them for free has set the mood for how I start the holiday season. We have been doing this for nine years in the Austin area.

Everyone loves a picture with Santa!

It has been a joy to watch Help-Portrait Austin grow and change over the years. Friends coming together, volunteers working together year after year, and also seeing our Help-Portrait Austin guests grow and change over the years. Children grow taller, our volunteers just like me turn a little grayer in the hair department, and the holiday joy and cheer of service to others always warms true.

Help-Portrait Austin’s Elf In Residence, Lucas saw Santa’s cookie stash and made a run for it!

Of course the festivities would not be complete without a visit from His HoHoHoiness, The Man In Red, The Connection, Santa himself, and of special mention is our Elf In Residence Lucas who has been entertaining our guests since he was 4 Earth Years Old and has racked up 6 years of service. Partnering up with Glen Meter who has done a lot with pet rescue and adoption photography and onsite photo printing we teamed up to bring amazing and memorable Santa Pictures to our guests. Special Thanks to Lori Miller who created the awesome paper snowflakes. MarkCharbPhoto provided all of the Santa Prints ~ 300 pictures with the DNP RX1 Printer which is a dye-sub printer capable of producing lab quality 4×6 prints in about 12 seconds. It is this service to the community you assist us in providing when you select a MarkCharbPhoto photo booth.
